Discover the Three C’s of a Successful Resume

The key essentials of writing a resume are three C’s that states clarity, content, and cohesion. All these three C’s are very important when writing a resume because these deliberations help add value and meaning to any resume.

Clarity

Clarity means a clear description of everything. The first ‘C’ states that every statement in the resume should be clear and meaningful. There should be no clutter, no messy language, and no irrelevant information. The applicant should use common words and simple language that is easily understandable by one and all. No words or statements should be misapprehended or else the applied position will be lost just in a few seconds. One single error can take the individual away from a rewarding job opportunity. The resume should have a clear description of work history, relevant skills, exceptional abilities, and educational qualifications.

Content

The second ‘C’ is the content that holds high value while creating a resume. Whatever is written in the resume makes a major difference in the selection or de-selection procedure of the applicant. The content means everything relevant including the full name of the applicant, complete contact details, synopsis of the professional work experience, and brief on the educational qualification. Apart from these special skills and talents should be highlighted to showcase the past achievements and contributions in the growth and success of the previous employer. Every single detail, every project handles, and every information related to the applied position should be specified in the resume. Stronger the content in the resume, higher is the demand of the applicant in the job market.

Cohesion

When writing a resume, people do think about functional and educational aspects but most of them ignore the significance of cohesion. Content and clarity everyone looks after but ignoring the cohesion leads them nowhere. It is also an important aspect of resume writing as it brings together all the elements of a resume. All the elements like the content, fonts, grammar, spellings, and language should all flow in one direction. Everything should blend in a perfect proportion. The resume should be simple and straightforward with a simple font used and a flawless content.
