LG Ally – Android Phone Available on Verizon Wireless

LG Ally is an Android smartphone available on Verizon Wireless. The handset is a dual band CDMA 800 / 1900 Mhz with 3G support. The phone measures 116 X 56 X 16 mm and weighs 158 grams. It is a qwerty phone and offers attractive looks and features.

LG Ally features a 3.2 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display which has a resolution of 480 X 800 pixels and can display 262,144 colors. The display also support multi-touch inputs. A full QWERTY keyboard is also provided which slides out from the back. The handset offers a good camera of 3.2 megapixels resolution which can take high resolution images and record videos of 640 X 489 pixels. Some features of the camera include LED flash, autofocus, macro mode, white balance, effects, self-timer, panorama and scenes.

LG Ally is powered by a MSM7627 600 MHz processor and runs on Android version 2.1. It has an internal ROM of 512 MB and RAM of 256 MB. For data storage, internal memory of 102 MB is provided which can be further expanded to up to 32 GB using an external microSD card.

Data transfer features include microUSB, EV-DO Rev A, Wifi and Bluetooth. Users can access the internet directly on the phone using the pre-installed HTML browser. Also, service like Gmail, Gtalk, Google Search, Google Maps, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter are directly integrated as applications. So, you can stay in touch with your friends, track your location, search information easily no matter where you are.
