Rahul and Dimpy wedding will be known as the 2nd live marriage on Indian TV Television after Hitesh and Rumpa of Lux Perfect Bride. Rahul chooses her life partner in Shubh Vivah episode of Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jaayega.
NDTV Imagine already has introduced a Swayamvar with Rakhi Ka Swayamvar. In this Swayamvar, Rakhi doesn’t get marry Elesh. So, in the continuation of Rakhi Ka Swayamvar, NDTV Imagine introduced Swayamvar Season 2 with the title of RDLJ.
The reality Show is based on a very unique concept which introduces Swayamvar in the modern world. The marriage reality TV Show was started before 5 weeks ago with 17 beautiful brides.
All participants had to perform some task to win the heart of Rahul. The TV Show also had adopted the elimination system. 14 brides are eliminated by the Show during the tasks.
Finally, only 3 brides enter into the final episode – Shubh Vivah: Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega. Final contestants of this Show were – Nikunj Malik, Dimpy Ganguly and Harpreet Chabra. However, Nikunj was not interested in marrying with Rahul.
